On Tuesday last the Rev. Mr. Cranna paid into the Hands of Doctor Cruce, the Sum of 273l. 8s. 9d. being the Collection made in the Parish of St. George, for the unhappy Sufferers by the late Fire in Bridge Town.
We are informed from Grenada, that at a Grand Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons, lately held there, a very generous Subscription was entered into for the relief of the Sufferers by the late fire here. An example which, they doubted not, would be followed throughout the Island.
Sept. 20 On Thursday the 11th Inst. Messrs. Daniel and Lytcott paid into the Hands of Doctor Cruce, the sum of 136l. Currency, on account of Gabriel Manigault, Esq; of South Carolina, being that Gentleman's charitable and generous Donation for the Use of the Sufferers by the late fire in Bridge Town.
