Full Text
President Roosevelt's recent special message to congress shows very plainly that he is not wavering in the least in his policy of conducting his administration for the people as against the wrong doings of organized capital. His message has the right ring to it and will be heartily endorsed by the great mass of the people regardless of their party affiliations. It is certainly very much to be regretted that President Roosevelt has taken the position he has against another term of office. The work undertaken by him is only fairly commenced and the nation needs him in the presidential chair for another term.
Even with a successor elected on a Roosevelt platform there would be great danger that the important work commenced by President Roosevelt would not be successfully carried out.
