No new alarms are upon our southern frontiers, and it is believed that the spirited measures upon the northern will tend to overawe the turbulent spirits of the natives, and to destroy the influence of the Prophet, who has awakened many fears among the new settlers. The regiment under Col. Boyd has a high reputation from its discipline, and from the military discretion and talents of its commander. Our troops belonging to the national army, and to the vicinity of the frontiers, will not be withheld from any measures the safety of our frontiers may suggest.
