Paralysis On Decline For Vance

Infantile paralysis is believed to be definitely abating in Vance county, Dr. Z. P. Mitchell, health officer, said today. Only four cases have been reported for July, which is now half gone. There were 12 for the month of June.

The health officer said he believed the peak of the outbreak had been reached in this county, and, while scattered cases are considered likely in the next few weeks, there is a conviction that the worst is over.

There have been two deaths in this county, both of them very small children, and both occurring in June.
