To Twin Cities Pulpits
With one exception, all African Methodist Episcopal churches in Minneapolis and St. Paul will continue under the leadership of the same pastors for another conference year.
Bishop A. J. Allen made the assignments during the Fourth District Annual A.M.E. Conference meeting in Davenport, Iowa the week of August 27th.
Re-assigned to his charge as presiding elder of the district was the Rev. Nelson Pryor.
Rev. Marlin J. Hendrieth returned to the pastorate of Wayman A. M. E. church. St. Peter's A. M. E. church welcomed back the Rev. Martin L. Simmons and the Rev. E. J. Jones returned to his congregation at St. James A. M. E. church in St. Paul.
St. James in Minneapolis saw the only change, with the Rev. H. Small replacing the former minister there.
Among the many delegates attending the Davenport conference were Mr. J. R. Collins, 3820 Fourth Avenue S., who represented St. James, St. Paul; and Mrs. Tyler Howell, Sr., 2207 Elliot Avenue, a delegate from St. Peter's.
The Rev. T. I. Morris was re-assigned to his charge in Duluth.
