SAN ANTONIO, Tex., June 26.-
Captain Lewis Morey, commander of troop K, who sent the first official account of the Carrizal battle, has been found.
He is lying wounded at the San Luis ranch, with four negro troopers; Gen. Pershing has advised Gen. Funston.
Morey's condition is not stated.
Major Jenkins, commanding the relief column, is reported scouring the vicinity, but no more stragglers have been found.
Of 84 officers and men, comprising the two troops, 43 have returned to the American line, and 17 prisoners are at Chihuahua, leaving 22 unaccounted for.

Gen. Pershing has forwarded the information taken from a notebook found on the body of Captain Boyd. The notebook contained carbon copies of the note sent the Mexican commander at Carrizal saying the Americans were on a peaceful mission, and asking permission to pass through the town.
The original note from Gen. Gomez inviting Boyd into town for a conference also has been found. Gen. Pershing commented that this note "looks like treachery."
How Morey escaped is not known, but it is supposed he was picked up by the rescuing force sent out by Gen. Pershing.
