Profits for last Season More Than $4000 and for Three Seasons Nearly $9000

The splendid results of the conduct of the tea and rest rooms in this city for the past three years is worthy of more than passing mention, for during that time the place has made a profit of nearly $9000, the profits for the past season alone being more than $4000. For this wonderful showing much credit is due the house committee of which Mrs. G. H. Prouty is chairman. The other members are Mrs. O. B. Gould, Mrs. F. D. Flint, Mrs. J. F. Blanchard and Mrs. J. F. Lambert. Those in charge during the different periods as shown in the table below also deserve a full share of the credit.

The House committee of the Victory Rest and Tea rooms have prepared for the public the following report which gives the total net receipts since the opening of the rooms and also the weekly cash receipts and disbursements for the season of 1919.

Season of 1917 (15 weeks, 4 days) netted ............$1500.00

Season of 1918 (19 weeks, 4 days) netted ........$3232.80

Season of 1919 (17 weeks, 4 days) netted ........$4239.54
