Full Text

Mr. EDITOR—

I was much gratified in witnessing some time ago, at Boston, an exhibition of Mr. Haddock's celebrated Androides. I perceive by some of the public prints that he is not stationary at that place—but is disposed to gratify the citizens of Newburyport, Portsmouth, and elsewhere, with his exhibitions. I cannot refrain from expressing the hope that he will visit Concord during the approaching session of the Legislature; and have no doubt he will be well repaid for his time and trouble. No man, woman, or child, acquainted with the merits of his exhibition, will suffer him to depart without contributing their mite, as an imperfect requital for the pleasure that will be afforded them.
