Clovers, Amos Milburn Play Here Tonight

The Clovers. Amos Milburn, Margie Day; Paul Williams and his Hucklebuckers, T-Bone Walker and his orchestra will be in the lime-light tonight at the initial Harvest Moon Ball in the City Auditorium.

This galaxy of nationally known entertainers who have scored triumphs on radio, records, night clubs and theatre will be heard in their best song hits as they appear before one of the largest Fall dance audiences to gather there

Dancegoers will be treated to four solid hours of blues, ballads and boogie beginning at 8:30 p.m. tonight and lasting until 12:30 a.m.

Leading area disc jockeys will join in the merriment

Ed Sullivan of newspaper, radio and television fame inaugurated the Harvest Moon ball idea Since his original ball in New York's Madison Square Garden the dance idea has spread to most major cities of the U S A.

Tonight the Clovers will be heard in "One Mint Julep," "Fool, Fool Fool." Good Lovin' and "Hey Miss Fanny." These and other wax works hits have carried them to the top of the quarter field.

Amos Milburn has scored another smash recording hit with "One Scotch, One Bourbon and One Beer."

He is already hailed for "Chicken Shack Boogie." "Bad Bad Whiskey" and "Let Me Go Home Whiskey.

Margie Day, the "Little Red Rooster" and "Daughter. That's Your Red Wagon" girl will sing "One Steady Baby" and "Don't Talk About Men

Guitarist T-Bone Walker will sing "What's the Reason" and "I'm Still In Love With You." Walker is featured in the current issue of Ebony magazine.
