A letter from Boston, dated March 28, mentions the transactions of the 5th of that month, and adds, that every friend of government is now left to the mercy of a mob, headed by a people without property or principle, and who will stick at no villainy to gain their ends; which appear to be nothing less than to shake off entirely the British government.---The news-mongers in Boston dare publish nothing relative to the late proceedings, by which means the people are kept entirely in the dark; and as most letters are opened which come from Boston, by these sons of liberty, few people dare to write their sentiments, or even give a true account of the late operations, for fear of being maltreated by the mob.
