PROVIDE TREES AND SHRUBS
No Real Necessity Why Any House Should Present the Appearance of Barrenness.

Barrenness of land around the home does not call to mind pleasant thoughts, but suggests the glare and heat of summer, the fury of the wind in winter, and a monotony of outlook.

What a difference if trees and shrubs, as shown in the second picture, had been planted: when the house was built.

Wrong even now, to begin the transformation.

Planting according to suggestions in United States Department of Agriculture bulletin will work the change in a few seasons.
