Authorities Advance Arguments To Show Why This City Should Be Unusually Safe.
"I hope the people will not give up going to the parks because of the theory that more malaria germs and mosquitoes are found there than in town," said the prominent physician. There may be truth in the theory. So is it true that there are States farther South that are extremely malarial, but no one advises the people to stop breathing the country air. Louisville people should do as they do there and keep at hand such remedies for malaria as are best, at the same time avoiding the bites of mosquitoes. Louisville people, of all others, should have the least fear of malaria, when they consider that this city is the home (and has been for forty years) of the most successful enemy to malaria ever known to the South. I speak of Wintersmith's Chill Tonic, which is made right here in Louisville."
