Moral Meanderings

An Editorial Outcropping. Blame It On The Weather. One giddy gadabout lived around the town. She was likeable and lovely and had a lot of fun. Some people envied her. Some people hated her. Some just thought her worthless. When the good Saint called her, she did a tap dance up the golden stair.

There also lived a grind in this same town. She was conscientious, yet brilliant, and bitten by the ambition bug. She had a stove-poker character. She enjoyed her work. She too, was lovable. Some people thought her a chump. Some envied her. Some hated her. When she left this earth it was with satisfaction that she thought of the benefits she had given the world. She marched up the stairs as if to singing drums.

Saint Peter admitted both of them to Heaven.

There are all kinds in this world and it is difficult to rank one better than another. We, in high school as well as in later life, can only learn to be tolerant of one another. That is the moral of this.
