From the Pennsylvania Freeman's Journal, of January 9.
In our last we had the pleasure to announce the capture of St. Eustatius by the gallant Marquis de Bouille, on the 26th of November last. On the 27th of that month, the flag of the United Provinces was hoisted on the fort, and it was announced by the discharge of artillery; and the acclamations of the inhabitants; that the island was restored to the dominion of Holland.
On the same day (the 26th) the Viscount de Damas, with 200 men, took possession of the island of St. Martins, and re-established the governments of France and Holland in the same manner as they stood at the time the English captured the island.
The island of Saba surrendered on summons the same day, and the laws of Holland were re-established.
