Full Text

It seems that the ambassador of Louis XVIII. has undertaken to become the master of the ceremonies at our public entertainments. A citizen on a late occasion happened to recognize one of these gallant men whose virtue has caused their exile from the country to whose glory they had contributed and were devoted. M. de Neuville has had the folly to address the executive of the union with a complaint on the subject, and it is said has withdrawn the French consul from Baltimore, (where the toast was drank) until satisfaction is made for drinking a toast, which there is not a friend of liberty or virtue in the universe who would not repeat.
