Aug. 13.—Mr. H. Oby has been on the sick list for the past week, but is around again now.
The farmers around here have begun cutting their small grain.
A lot of the young fellows here are getting ready for their annual pilgrimage to the western harvest fields.
Mr. and Mrs. S. M. Stone and Miss Jessie McBye were in Little Falls on business Monday. They also took in the circus while in town.
All who attended the circus from this place say it was fine for its size.
A number of young folks from Culdra spent Sunday at Wm. Bailey's.
Threshing will soon commence in this vicinity.
The Methodist minister from Randall preached at the Free Methodist church Sunday morning.
Mrs. Alice Oby has been laid up with a felon, but she is getting better now.
The sheriff was out this way last Tuesday.
Miss Julia Oby is expected home Tuesday to spend the remainder of her vacation. She has been attending summer school and has also been visiting her sister, Mrs. W. S. Gish, of Little Falls.
Alice and Amos Oby expect to go to North Dakota to work in the harvest fields as soon as haying is over.
