A Town Manager
With the coming referendum vote for a Town Manager nearly 3 weeks away, the voters in Smyrna have ample time to think the question over and make a decision.
That a Town Manager would increase efficiency and save money can not be denied. The progress made by our neighbor town, Dover, with a Town Manager at the helm, should not be overlooked. A manager trained in finance and capable of efficient leadership might soon save enough for his salary. It would seem wise to have a manager who would devote his entire time and ability to further the aims of progress in this community.
