In view of the fact that Mlle. Rhea will be one of the stage celebrities who will visit Savannah next month (Feb. 17 and 18), the following from the New York World is of interest to the admirers of the great actress of these times: "James W. Morrissy, Rhea's manager, was interviewed by the St. Louis Globe-Democrat last week and said that Mary Anderson, Maggie Mitchell, Lotta, Ristori, Mrs. Florence and Rhea were all strict members of the Catholic church. The latter, it appears, goes to Mass at 6 o'clock every Sunday morning, when not traveling, and has succeeded in converting to her faith Miss Julia Wheeler, a member of her company, who will be baptized during Rhea's coming engagement at Washington. The question naturally arises, what is to become of Mr. Morrissey when subjected to such pious surroundings? Should the worthy endeavors of his star extend to him and prove successful, the large circle of the young man's acquaintances will breathe easier."
