PARENTS DRIVE ALL NIGHT
TO RUSH INJURED YOUNGSTER
TO TEMPE FOR TREATMENT

TEMPE, Aug. 24—Mr. and Mrs. V. L. Wickersmith returned here yesterday with their five year old daughter injured north of Payson when the automobile in which they were riding struck a bump. The child was thrown out of the car and it ran over her, crushing one limb.

The parents made an all night drive into Payson, where temporary aid was secured, and then continued on to Tempe, where it was feared amputation would have to be performed.
