Ilo Dominy, a four year old boy living at 1613 North Chestnut street, started off this morning at an early hour to see the world and fight the Germans and kill the Kaiser, and then he was just undecided as to what he would do after conquering everything in need of trouncing.
He wore a pair of blue rompers, and did not bother with a kit sack or a suit case, for what need has a conqueror of the world with luggage?
He also did not stop at home to say good-bye, farewells are so troublesome, and then women almost always cry when they tell their sons good bye, before the hero's start to battle.
The would be warrior arrived down town and sized up the court house and inspected the torn up streets, and decided he would start to Streator on his explorations. The Streator car turned the corner of Main and La Salle streets, when some one called the attention of Policeman Jesse Holmes to the small boy attempting to board the back end of the moving interurban car. Officer Holmes took charge of the boy and returned him to an almost frantic mother.
