Full Text

New-Brunswick, July 8.

Warning to Sabbath Breakers.-On Sunday last, William Cavener, by trade a Shoemaker, with several of his companions, went down the river on a sailing excursion. On their return home, being as we understand, all much intoxicated Cavener fell overboard and was drowned. His body was found a short time after.

We hope that this warning of Providence, will lead the intemperate, and profaners of the Sabbath, to reflect seriously on the impiety and folly of such conduct.
