New way to prevent Emigration: ! !

John Bull, finding that his subjects will leave his happy kingdom, for the wilds of America, the slanders of Fearon, Welby and others notwithstanding, has at length cried out "mad dogs," as may be seen by the following article taken from a late London paper, (the True Briton)

"A gentleman, just arrived from New York, states that hydrophobia existed to a frightful degree at various parts of the United States. At Philadelphia & New-York, the military had been out to destroy all the dogs they might find in the streets!!!"
