MRS. ATWATER VOTED MOST POPULAR ASST. WARD LEADER

Mrs. Pearl Atwater, a member of the United Institutional Baptist Church, was recently voted the most Popular Assistant Ward Leader in the church.

In a contest sponsored by the Wards of the church, Mrs. Atwater raised $638.86. Mrs. Florina Whitehead, Assistant Leader of Ward number 5, was runner-up with $528.86. Mrs. Atwater is a very faithful and loyal member of the church, serving as a member of the Usher Board for a number of years and the Assistant Leader of Ward number 3, led by Mr. Lester Weathers.

We are happy, therefore, to salute Mrs. Atwater as the Most Popular Assistant Ward Leader of the year 1958-59.
