Several Spent Sunday in This City, Starting for Different Locations.
A number of prominent republican politicians were in this city over Sunday taking a needed rest from their political labors and preparing for the strenuous week of campaigning which has now opened. Senator McCumber spent Sunday in Fargo and left today for Lisbon, where he will speak tonight. Senator H. C. Hansbrough who has been here for several days, consulting with members of the republican state central committee, departed this morning for the northern part of the state where he will deliver a series of addresses. Ormsby, McHarg and Jacob Hauck who were here over Sunday will speak at Chaffee tonight and at Alice tomorrow night. Sen. J. D. Bacon of Grand Forks came to town yesterday to confer with members of the state central committee and L. A. Pettibone of Dawson, one of the county committeemen of Kidder county, was here talking over the situation in his county.
