SIX BOXING MATCHES
Now Giving Much Time As Instructor In U. S. Army At Honolulu

John L. Brittingham, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Brittingham, of New Church, Va., is making a name for himself as Class 4, Junior Welterweight, in the 5th Engineers, U. S. Army, stationed at Honolulu, Hawaii.

He is known to fans of the Shore as Kid Lloyd. He enlisted in the U. S. Army September 6, 1934. During the time he has been in the Army he has taken part in 6 prize fights and has won all of them. He is now giving much time as boxing instructor.

His mother, Mrs. Sallie Brittingham has a letter from him which was sent on the return trip to the first flight of the China Clipper. It was mailed December 5th, at 2 p. m. at Honolulu, arrived at San Francisco December 6th and arrived at New Church December 9th, at 4 a. m.
