An Affair has happened in the Town of Bastia, which makes a very great Noise, and is thus related at Leghorn, viz.

An Officer of the French Troops having a Quarrel with Two Genoese Officers, the latter assassinated him, and then fled for Refuge, one to a Convent, and the other to a Church.

They say, that the Count de Boisseux being inform'd of it, caused them both to be dragged out of their Sanctuaries and put to Death: They add, that the Marquis de Mari complains, that this Execution was perform'd without giving him any previous Notice of it.
