"Our minister is probably the wealthiest minister in the world, being worth over $400,000. The rent roll of his land brings him in from Spreckels, the great sugar king, over $15,000 a year. He has built several churches and at home has a Sunday school of his own with over 5,000 members. Out of his income he gives $7,000 a year to spread the gospel. His is a conscientious Royalist and at the request of the queen travels with her band. He is probably one of the best educated men that travels today. He owns 11,000 acres of land in Hawaii, and speaks the English, as well as German, Latin, Greek, and Hebrew languages, as readily as he does the Hawaiian. All the services will be rendered in English.
A special invitation will be extended to the clergy of Wichita to attend these services.
The Largest Crowd Ever Seen at the Auditorium
Was that last night at the Shaker concert. The auditorium was filled in thirty minutes after the doors were opened and before the curtain went up there was not standing room in any part of the large building. The Shaker doctor's lecture was received with rapt attention and everyone was more than well pleased with both the lecture and entertainment.
Tonight the Shaker concert company will give a big double show which they call the Red Letter show night, as it is an extra big show and the price of admission is only 10 cents to any part of the house. We advise all those who intend to visit the auditorium tonight to go early so as to get a seat for no doubt the house will be crowded, 156-1t
