J. M. and Mrs. Ligon left Saturday night for Pittsburg, where they will remain two or three weeks and then go on to their future home in Conway, Ark. Mrs. Ligon goes to her old home and it is only necessary to say that she stayed in Abilene long enough to cause keen regret to a large number of warm friends won here that she should so soon leave them.
Mr. Ligon was in business in Abilene four years or more, and without flattery we say that no young man ever won warmer friends or more of them in this town. He is the personification of honor and integrity, attends to his own affairs to the exclusion of other peoples business, and the Reporter wants to commend him to his new neighbors as a young man entitled to their respect and confidence in every way. He is the same quiet, courteous, considerate gentleman 365 days in the year. We give him up with much regret, but wish him success in his new home, call down upon him and his fair young wife the choice blessings of health, happiness and prosperity.
If they should ever see it to their interests to come back to Abilene they will be warmly welcomed.-Abilene (Texas) Daily Reporter.
Conway is pleased to welcome this young couple. Mr. Ligon will engage in business with W. M. Harrell & Co., of this city.
