We hear His Majesty has directed, that Fort Pittsburgh be forthwith completely restored to a defensible and respectable State, or another erected, of a Sufficient Strength, and every Way adequate to the Importance of the several Objects of maintaining his Subjects in the undisputed Possession of the Ohio, of effectually cutting off all Trade and Communication that Way between Canada and the Western and Southern Indians, of protecting the Colonies from the Incursions to which they are liable, and of again fixing the Several Indian Nations in their Alliance with, and Dependance on, the Government of South Carolina.
