Members of the Pine Level Free Will Baptist church voted Saturday to boycott Whiteville concerning the beer and wine referendum in Whiteville. The body voted 100 per cent while and any other town or business establishment that is licensed restaurant establishment to sell beer and wine stating that they would boycott the town of Whiteville or another town or business place so long as they allow licensed beer and wine to be sold in the town. The resolution signed by Rev. Wah Danan moderator, and R. C Rhotes, clerk of Pee Dee Baptist Union appointed consisting of five to represent our Union Meeting and its lists reads action in this matter; and that we Pee Dee Union 2 of the original join in with the other churches male Free Will Baptists in session of Columbus county in their united effort to vote this beverage out of the town of Whiteville.
