Mutiny on Board A Whale Ship.—A terrible outrage, says the San Francisco Telegram of Thursday, was perpetrated last night on board the whaling bark Tempest, lying in the stream. Seven of the crew, Malays, seized the second officer and lashed him to one of the masts, and then threw overboard the third mate, who, however, fortunately caught a line which was hanging over the side and saved himself. The Malays then took a boat and went off. Information of the affair was given to the Chief of Police this morning, who has taken measures for the pursuit and capture of the mutineers.
