BOILING RADIATOR SCALDS SMALL CHILD

Carol Ann Engle, the twenty-two months old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George W. Engle of Duncaster Road, has been taken home from Hartford Hospital where she was treated for severe burns inflicted on her head, neck, arm and back when the radiator of her father's auto boiled over spilling scalding water on her body.

The accident happened late last month. Noting upon his arrival home that the radiator was hot, Mr. Engle stepped to the front of his car to investigate. He had not noticed the child was at his side as he removed the radiator cap, the water boiled out over her body.

Although hospitalized for nine days and still requiring treatment, physicians state the girl will not be scarred.
