SISTER OF SPOKANE DIVINE ON PROBATION

San Francisco, Aug. 4.—Carrie Patterson, aged 19, sister of Rev. William Patterson of Spokane, Wash., was put on three years probation this morning by Judge Dunn. Her sentence which is indefinite was postponed. The girl is accused of robbing a sailor of thirty dollars in a Pacific street resort. Reverend Patterson appeared and promised to care for his sister, but she was remanded to his charge. Patterson was not aware of his sister's life in this city until notified of the charge against her. When told she was free, the girl became hysterical.
