Yesterday the House of Lords were summoned to attend his Majesty, to be present at giving the royal assent to such bills as were ready. His Majesty came accordingly to the House about 2 o'clock, and gave the royal assent to
The bill for punishing mutiny and desertion, and for the better payment of the army and their quarters.
The bill for defraying the charge of the pay and clothing of the militia.
The bill to continue an act for allowing the free importation of Irish salted provisions, &c.
And also several road, enclosure, and private bills.
