In City Shows Progress

Though several material houses reported "deals on the fire", none started new residences during the past week.

Progress was noted on homes already under construction, however.

Sones Lumber company has completed the roof and sidewall construction on the Fred Daniel home on Sixth and Holt streets and has completed foundation work on the Frank Purdue home on El Centro avenue.

Both houses were designed by Sandy Sanford.

A. A. Moody reported the Harlan F. Daley job near completion after only three weeks of construction.

The Daley home is on El Centro.

The J. W. Mercier house, on Brighton street, is being plastered, Moody said.
