Carload of Ore
CRIPPLE CREEK, Colo., Apr. 15 - A 50-ton car of gold ore donated to the Red Cross war fund by mining companies and lessees at Cripple Creek, Colorado, has been loaded and shipped to the mill. A. H. Beebe, manager for the Carlton interests, said contributions had been made by several producing companies and a large number of lessees.
The Midland Terminal railroad is remitting all freight charges on the car of ore and is taking it to the mill free of charge. The Golden Cycle mill in Colorado Springs is treating the ore without charge and the Colorado Trading & Transfer company has donated the hauling wherever it was necessary from a property not accessible to railroad.
