NASHVILLE, Sept. 16.-The lower House of the General Assembly passed on third reading this morning the anti-prize-fighting bill. There was a red hot discussion, but it went through by a big majority. The Senate bill making it a high misdemeanor was substituted for the House bill making it a felony.
Senator Strud's bill prohibiting the whipping of convicts was killed in the Senate this morning. The reapportionment bill was introduced in both Houses and passed the first reading.
