The following remarks are made by the Boston Centinel upon the letter published in London, stating that the Danes had left off capturing, &c. since Mr. Erving's arrival at Copenhagen :

“ The source of this puff courteous is easily perceived. Independent of the stupidity of the supposition that any individual or ministerial agency, could have effected a total change in a nation's system, it is a well known fact, that a great proportion of the American vessels which have passed into the Baltic have done so under British convoy, and have not asked the leave of Denmark. Mr. Erving has undoubtedly done his duty; and ought not to be made the subject of ridiculous puffs."
