Petersburg, Feb. 13. There was on the 7th a great Assembly at Court, when the Earl of Hyndford, his Britannick Majesty's Ambassador, was presented to the Empress as a private Person, and was receiv'd with great Marks of Esteem and Favour. At the same Time M. Pisold, Resident from the King of Poland, was likewise presented to the Czarina. His Imperial Highness appeared then, for the first Time, in Publick, since his Recovery from the Small-pox; and it was observed with great Satisfaction, by all who were present, that his Highness was grown taller, look'd fresher in the Face, and had little or no Appearance of being mark'd by the Distemper.
