The Agricultural Department Asked to Test Its Seeds.
Sacramento, Nov. 21.—The National Grange yesterday morning fixed upon Atlanta, Ga., as the place for the next meeting.
A resolution favoring the testing of seeds in experimental stations before distribution by the Department of Agriculture was adopted.
A report favoring co-operation was adopted.
The report of the Committee on Good of the Order favoring the distribution of grange literature was adopted.
A resolution urging property and educational qualifications for voters and also woman suffrage was not admitted, as it was considered impolitic for the National Grange to commit itself, as voting qualifications are prescribed by the states.
The California law taxing mortgages was referred to the several state granges.
Brigham, of Ohio, Rhone, of Pennsylvania, and Trimble, of the District of Columbia, were appointed a committee on legislation to present measures proposed by the National Grange to congress.
A resolution was adopted approving the Australian system of voting.
About 100 received the sixth degree last night, and about 300 will receive the seventh degree to-night.
To-morrow will be the last day of the meeting.
