Immigration.—Last Tuesday's boat brought in several immigrants for this county, and 5 or 10 families proceeded on up to Corvallis and Eugene with the intention of locating in Benton and Lane counties. They were from Iowa City, Iowa.—We are further informed that 20 or 30 families from Iowa are coming with the design of settling in Linn county. Oregon is fast attracting attention in the East, and as fast as the truth is known there in regard to her abundant resources the people are pressing forward to swell our population and develop our yet slumbering treasures.
