Nov. 3. The Empress, it is said, had formed a plan to place a King of her own on the throne of Poland. The person she had in view to nominate, was Prince Potemkin, now commanding before Oczakow. To this, or any interference whatever in the affairs of Poland, the King of Prussia put his decided negative, and the Empress has revoked her intentions by the following declaration: "that she renounced the project of a more close alliance with the King and the Republic, and should leave the Diet to act according to their own judgment."
