March 22. They write from Gibraltar, That Muley Hamet Lariba, King of Morocco, being inform'd that his Predecessor Muley Abdallah, was on the March again with his Army towards Moguinez, is retired no body knows whither, and that they are all in the utmost Confusion at St. Croix, in Barbary, by Reason of the frequent Incursions of the Mountaineers, who plunder and destroy every Thing in their Way. These Letters add, That they have had no Rain in that Country all this Winter, which has made Provisions so dear, that the Barbarians have appointed frequent Days of Fasting, to obtain from Heaven a Change of Weather.
