Car Thieves.

Several box cars in the yard here were broken into by a party of hoboes Monday, and Officer Claude Derrick in company with the railroad detective has been on their trail for a day or two and is in hopes of bringing them back.

He returned yesterday morning with the four prisoners, having secured the assistance of the Day county officials in rounding them up. They had in their possession a grip containing a lot of miscellaneous goods, which were supposed to have been taken from the car.

The men were taken before Justice Bleser, and waiving examination were remanded to jail until the convening of court next week.
