The High School.
Editor Republican:
We, the seniors of the Central High School, would wish to correct an error which occurred in your issue of yesterday morning, wherein you reported our school as having given their annual exhibition on last Friday evening. The occasion in question was merely the delivering of our regular Friday evening's exercises. We would attach no importance to the mistake were it not for the fact that we would feel very humiliated indeed should it be supposed that the members of the High School could not bring forward better exercises for their annual exhibition than those recited last Friday.
