TO MEET IN ATLANTA
Dr. J. G. Dean, of Dawson, Will Preside Over Deliberations of Association Wednesday
ATLANTA, Aug. 14.—A crowded program is promised for the one day meeting here tomorrow of railway surgeons from throughout the state. Approximately 150 surgeons are expected to be in attendance at the meeting, which in addition to the routine business to be transacted, will run through several discussions of subjects peculiar to the surgeons' work.
Surgeon J. G. Dean, of Dawson, president of the Railway Association of Georgia, is scheduled to call the meeting to order at 9:30, which will be followed by an invocation and address of welcome by Mayor W. A. Sims, of Atlanta, and Surgeon A. G. Fort, in behalf of the railway surgeons here. Surgeon Cleveland Thompson, of Millen, Ga., is to deliver the response.
Before the meeting is adjourned for luncheon a general discussion of foreign transportation will take place. Election and installation of officers and selection of the next meeting place are scheduled for near the close of the session.
The afternoon is to be devoted to a broad range of discussions by several speakers.
