AT MONTGOMERY, ALA.

The largest exhibition of poultry displayed at any fair this season was shown at Montgomery, Ala., last week. Almost every variety that could be thought of was there. Something over 5,000 birds were on display and among that number were some of Maury county's beauties. The following gentlemen won premiums in the hottest contest they had been up against anywhere:

W. S. McFall, on his S. C. Buff Orpingtons, 1st pullet, 2nd hen, 3rd cockerel, 2nd pen.

E. L. Wilson, on his Buff Leghorns, 3rd cock, 3rd hen, 1st pullet, 1st pen.

Miles Cook on his S. C. Black Minorca, 1st cock, 1st and 2nd hen, 1st pen.
