Full Text

So Soon.—We recognize upon the streets several faces which were familiar in Democratic circles just before the election, last fall, and disappeared immediately afterwards. Is it possible that the Democratic "Colonization Society" has commenced operations so soon!—Journal of this morning.

As soon as the abolitionists commence importing voters into this county, on the eve of an election they begin to cry out that the democrats are doing the same thing. The above is a specimen. It is a trick to direct attention from their own infamous proceedings. We learn on entirely reliable authority, that they are already sending men from Warren into this county, to help elect their county ticket. The Journal's warning is intended to cover up this movement. Look out for the pipe-laying operations of the abolitionists. They have already commenced.
