On Thursday last the following sorrowful Accident happened at a Ropewalk in this Town, a young Man named Nathan Millward assisting in making a large Cable, being at one of the Fore-hooks, and a little unguarded, by a Wooller-Strap breaking, the whole Strain returned upon him, which forced the Hoop out of his Hand and struck him violently in the Head, and fractured his Skull in such a Manner, that he lay'd in a languishing Condition till next Day, and then died. He has left a sorrowful Widow and two Children.
