Sir Charles Tupper Taken to Task.

OTTAWA, Ont., July 11.- Many of the French members of Parliament have taken offence at Sir Charles Tupper's public utterances in London in favor of the Imperial Federation. Col. Amyot intends asking in the House whether the High Commission is authorized by the government to promote Imperial federation. He will also ask if the government has a fixed policy in regard to Imperial federation and whether that policy is hostile, favorable or indifferent to unity.
